Hobert Murphree started in the pool business over 50 years ago by installing reinforced steel in pools. It is from that perspective that Hobert built his business, from the ground up! In 1975, seeking integrity and customer service in an industry known for fly-by-night companies and mega-corporations that build swimming pools as part of a varied product line, he founded Hobert Pools, Inc. When Dallas' Central Expressway was just a two-lane road, he bought property north of Interstate 635, built offices and put down his roots in the Metroplex as a premier pool builder that was here to stay.
